Dreamteams Yoga

Dreamteams Yoga

Yoga makes you gentle, calm, confident, and beautiful.

Our yoga teachers are well-versed in several styles of yoga, mostly Hatha Yoga and, with their calm and competent manner, will guide you to the point where you can continue practicing on your own (you could, if you would do it).

Self-employed individuals, freelancers, artists—but also job seekers and stressed-out employees. Everyone faces diverse demands. And our yoga also helps you maintain balance during life crises.

Learn the timeless asanas, gain relaxation, and become joyful. Overcome stress and anxiety. Our yoga will make you happy and mindful. Meet friendly people—join the club.

Okay, we don't have a club, except perhaps for dream teams. But don't get too attached to your idea of yourself—or even to your business. Keep your distance from what you do, or don't do. You are not all of that. Your true self is elsewhere. Don't you think—life is one long dream. Isn't it? Once you realize this, letting go becomes easier.

Learn to observe yourself and look inward. There you will find peace, love, and your happiness. Stay flexible like a blade of grass in the wind. Don't get discouraged and maintain distance from yourself. Overcome your fear, anger, and despair.

We practice the timeless asanas (Hatha Yoga) and find our inner peace. We practice releasing tension within us. Letting go in general. We strengthen our concentration and meet kind and like-minded people.

Hatha Yoga method: Asanas (physical postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, Vedanta (the science of the eternal and philosophical foundation of yoga).

You will receive guidance on yogic nutrition and learn some of the liberating mantras. Can you play an instrument or dance?

What should I want?

 The End of Going Nowhere..

Or perhaps... you've reached the end of an idea? Not so good. So, what do you have/who are you? What will you do? Values, moods, feelings.

What should I want

Going nowhere? And what should I actually do?

The Art of the Beginning

'On the Art of Beginnings' Also, of (New) Beginnings

This is about the WHAT. WHAT do you truly want to achieve? Where are you drawn to, or who do you want to be? Do you already have images of it, and where do they come from? What does it mean, why do you want what you want, what wants to come? Do you want to pursue it, or do you want to let it rest? Do you have to do something, or is it good as it is? What I think about or believe in, I will attract into my life.

On the fragility of the original idea.

The idea that must defend and assert itself. The HOW will follow. We'll address that later. You want to find or redefine a business idea (let's assume). But is your idea a 'business idea,' or what is it really about? Do you really have to squeeze a 'business' out of it? At the beginning... What does that mean for you?

Often, outsiders simply ask... what is your (business) idea? That's taken for granted. BUT: Do you even have an idea, and is it 'feasible'?

Our first tangible goal will be to create a 'briefing'. The creation of your story, your corporate identity.

The corporate identity of your PERSON...

My Problem is Me

Exchange of experiences, sessions, workshops, provising help

The problem here is me...

We help each other. Opportunities for collaboration, skills exchange, workshops, and regular meetings bring us closer and support each other on our journey. We meet to support each other in action and planning.

Exchange of Skills

We organize a mutual exchange of skills – and we're still looking for a facilitator for this part of the program. Are you interested/available?

Finding helpers, being a helper

Being a Team

You are so nice together. You shouldn't be alone,  Alan said. Aha... and so he founded 'Dreamteams'. Because many people are often very much on their own, with their ideas, especially freelancers, managing directors of small businesses, or entrepreneurs.

Often, a clarifying discussion or reorganization of thoughts is needed, or a perspective on one's own actions. A Dreamteam is meant to help you get to a point where you can continue on your own again. We help clarify your ideas and move you forward. And a Dreamteam also helps you if you're in danger of losing sight of your idea. We help you defend and rebuild your core and the soul of your idea.

When you become a member of a Dreamteam, you temporarily take on one of the 'roles' below, for the benefit of another team member:

  1. One person will be your 'Personal Assistant' for a period of time, helping to organize your private life (similar to 'Team Friday', a call center in India).
  2. Another will be your 'Team Coach', helping you find your support team, identify partners, and clarify your role in all of this
  3. You will have a 'Guardian Angel' within the group, who will oversee your public image and ensure you don't slack off in this regard, helping you maintain good and consistent materials.
  4. One person will be your 'Personal Trainer', making sure you stay fit and healthy and helping you overcome barriers and self-sabotage through physical exercises (yoga).
  5. Another will be your 'PR Consultant', ensuring you attend the right events, meet the right people, cultivate those relationships, and have good press releases and photos.
  6. From within, you'll receive an 'Accountant', who records your income and expenses, writes invoices and reminders, creates budgets, and helps you organize your finances.
  7. And last but not least, one of us will be your 'Time Coach', who will help you use your time effectively and identify where you keep wasting it.

Seven Angels—"Siete Angelos"— to protect you.

And so —my dear— that's what a Dream Team is all about. Isn't that better than continuing to struggle alone?

And ultimately, you will become your own 'mind coach', always making sure your vision isn't lost and that you firmly believe in your success.

In the Focus of all Meetings

In The Focus of all Meetings

We first try to understand and describe your idea. Can it be called a 'business idea,' or what is it about?

What do we see in it, and what do potential customers see in it? We help each other overcome very specific obstacles, and we stick together. This is how we become a Dreamteam, and a very special one — YOURS, and maybe the ONLY one you will ever have.

We work in a group. Active listening and asking questions clarify the situation and lead to the core of the topic. Together, we formulate a description for your project and determine the next steps.

Dreamteam members typically contribute many hours of unpaid work to another's project alongside their own issue (and allow others to contribute to theirs). This mutual collaboration is a mandatory prerequisit of our Dreamteams workshop. It is the very essence of Dreamteams. And we want motivated and committed participants in Dreamteams. We do not have mandatory assignments, for example from the Job Center.

There are only advantages

Much of it practically free and very useful. That's why Alan Heck founded Dreamteams, and he did so voluntarily, not because he was commissioned by anyone. And you're doing it voluntarily too. What a sad place the world would be if there weren't a few people sticking together.

Linda wants to participate

Linda wants to participate.

Why? She'll meet interesting people and gain insight into the "close quarter combat" within their projects. The topics are relevant to her because she wants to advance her existing freelance career as an artist.

Are you open to connecting with people? Do you want to give your idea or your profession a new direction? And do you want to set the course for that now? That's our mission here; it's the norm for us. Here, you can be who you are and start moving forward in your chosen direction.

Our regular meetings will soon bring clarity. We'll review your ideas, and you'll soon be able to see the limitations of your project more clearly. After an intensive course period (the Dreamteams workshop lasts three months), things will return to normal for you. Your team will stay in touch with you even after the course, and you'll meet up occasionally, even as everyone goes out into the world and pursues their own dreams.

Methodology: The coaches at Dreamteams generally use the so-called "moderation method" when facilitating workshops.
